What are the advantages of being a South Australian producer?

Location:  The Pendleton Estate Grove is 15km’s North-East of the township of Keith on Emu Flat Road. The groves are planted on sandy loam where sub artesian water is abundant although somewhat salty which is perfect for the growing of olive trees. The area usually has good rainfall, approximately 18 inches. The Keith latitude is very similar to the Tuscan Region. The key feature of the soils is the amount of calcium and limestone contained in the soil which aids drainage and is good for olive growing, hence the name the ‘Limestone Coast’.

South Australian Produce is world class. The clean and green environment, passion, research methodologies and craftsmanship has enabled producers in this state to produce cutting edge produce to lead the world. 
 
In South Australia we are fortunate to be working with extremely passionate food and wine producers who know their craft. This has enabled a strong food and wine philosophy to develop and flourish. Currently 25,000 olive trees are grown on our farm at Keith in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia. At Pendleton Estate
we have a passion for producing fine food and delivering quality produce to our customer base.  Our vision is to supply reasonably priced, quality extra virgin olive oil and fine food produce to the foodservice and retail sectors.

What does it mean to you to be a South Australian?

Being South Australian is a privilege as we are working with many food and wine industry leaders. An abundance of quality produce has helped our product expansion. As a result we have developed a Coonawarra Red Wine Vinegar combining Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon fruit from our region to compliment our product range.
